Ingredients:
For the dough:
- 125g butter (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar
- ½ cup yogurt
- ½ cup vegetable oil
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 1 tsp baking powder
- About 3 cups flour (add gradually)
For the filling:
- 3 medium apples, grated
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1 tsp cinnamon
- Optional: chopped walnuts
To finish:
- Powdered sugar for dusting
Instructions:
1. Make the filling:
Cook grated apples with sugar and cinnamon in a pan over medium heat until soft and most moisture is gone. Let cool. Add walnuts if using.
2. Prepare dough:
Mix butter, powdered sugar, yogurt, oil, vanilla, and baking powder. Gradually add flour until you get a soft, non-sticky dough.
3. Shape & fill:
Take walnut-sized pieces of dough. Flatten, place a spoon of filling in the center, fold over and seal. You can shape into crescents or small parcels.
4. Bake:
Place on lined tray. Bake at 170°C (340°F) for 20–25 min, until lightly golden.
5. Finish:
Once cooled, dust with powdered sugar.
