- 1 cup semolina (irmik)
- 100g butter (about ½ cup)
- 1 cup sugar

Instructions:
- Melt Butter & Toast Semolina:
- In a large pan, melt butter. Add semolina (and nuts if using). Stir constantly on medium heat until golden brown and fragrant — about 10–15 minutes.
- Prepare Syrup:
- In a separate pot, warm milk and sugar until sugar dissolves. Do not boil.
- Combine:
- Slowly add syrup to the toasted semolina (be careful — it bubbles!). Stir constantly until absorbed.
- Rest:
- Cover with a lid and let rest for 10–15 minutes off heat.
- Serve Warm:
- Scoop into bowls. Optional: sprinkle cinnamon or serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream.
